DSA Christmas Event Update

You may remember in the last Newsletter, we mentioned a Christmas event, in Swansea Market, next Wednesday 07th December.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to hold this.

We hope you won’t be too disappointed, and rest assured that we are planning several events for next year.

There will be another Newsletter coming out late January, so look out for that !!
Merry Christmas/Nadolig Llawen, Swans DSA

Swansea City Disabled Supporters’ Association Launched

SCFC DSA LaunchThe Swansea City Disabled Supporters’ Association was officially launched this evening at the Liberty Stadium with delegates including Swansea City Chairman Huw Jenkins, Swansea City Supporters Trust, Jackie Newing of Level Playing Field and numerous disabled supporters.

The launch commenced with a presentation by Ian James, Club and Supporters’ Trust Disability Officer on how disability issues are dealt with at the club.

Jackie Newing then gave a presentation on how the Disabled Supporters’ Association (DSA) would work and explained the need to set up a Steering Group to get things moving.

Ian James, the club disability officer, said;

“I would like to thank everybody who helped organise the day and contributed to a successful launch. I was pleased with the turnout and the positive attitude of the supporters who turned up and contributed. This is a very exciting new venture that was driven by the Supporters Trust and has the full commitment of the club and the stadium management company.”
