October Committee Meeting updates

Hi there !

Below are some updates from the October DSA Committee Meeting, and right at the bottom are some details about the DSA CHRISTMAS PARTY on Wednesday 05 December.

We hope to see you there. (We are hoping some “special guests” will be attending.)

If you can come, please e-mail Cath on secswandsa@gmail.com.

This is even more important than ever, as we have to give accurate numbers to the Caterers. As we mentioned in the October Newsletter, the DSA are having to cover the cost of food and drink now, so we don’t want any waste !

If you have any ideas about how you, or somebody you know, could help us with the cost of this in the future, we would appreciate it. For example, do you know anybody who could sponsor a DSA Event ? We could give them publicity in return.

Any assistance would be most welcome.

GRAHAM POTTER VISITS THE DSA COMMITTEE :

We had a surprise Guest come to the last DSA Committee Meeting. GRAHAM POTTER kindly accepted our invitation call in to see us. He introduced himself to all of individually, listened to what the DSA were trying to achieve, told us a little about himself, before shaking hands with us all individually. He was charming. He stayed about half an hour, which we thought showed real commitment on his part.

MEMBERSHIP :

We currently have 62 Adult Members and 7 Junior Members. Thank you ☺Please feel free to spread the word to others to join. They will be very welcome.

SCAFC DSA “WELCOME TABLE” AT THE WEST BROM GAME :

At the game v West Brom on Wed 28 November, the DSA will have a table, near the Swans Trust POD (next to the Shop). Come and say hello, and bring anybody who wants to join !!

DAVID ENSTONE :

It is with great regret, that we learnt that DAVID ENSTONE is leaving Swansea City Ticket Office, to go and work for Ticket Master.

David has been a tremendous help to the DSA in his time at the Liberty Stadium, and we will miss him. Here is David, along with Ticket Office Supervisor DENISE RUFFELL at the last Committee Meeting, where they were our  Guests.

Good Luck David, from everybody at Swansea City DSA.

LOOK OUT FOR THE DSA ON THE BIG SCREENS IN THE STADIUM !! :

If you are going to the NORWICH game, on Sat 24 November, look out for a DSA advert on the big screens.

With our grateful thanks to the Club, we are hoping to be seen on the big screen.

Keep your eyes peeled !!
